Kyle Kadel - Bio
Kyle is 15 years old and a Junior at Glendale High School where he is a member of GHS Thespian Troupe #171. He is currently in
rehearsals to play the Coyote in The Three Javelinas with Theater Works. Prior to that he tried his hand as a spotlight operator for
Theater Works' Beauty and the Beast. As an actor, he was most recently seen in Wizard of Oz at GHS and as Rapunzle’s father in The
Brothers Grimm at Creative Stages Youth Theatre. Kyle was a soloist in the Christmas concert with the Theater Works Youth Choir and
also a soloist and ensemble member in Oliver Twist the Musical. He was in I Hate Shakespeare, The Princess Bride and Our Rotten
Town all at GHS. Kyle is a member of the GHS Choir where he had the distinction of being a recipient of the 2009 “Director’s Award” as
well as attending a Disney Vocal Masterclass, where he had the honor of working with acclaimed clinician Brent Pierce. Kyle was
previously a member of the select choir at American school where he performed numerous solos as well as participating in the District
Choral Festival. In addition to singing, Kyle has played the Viola, the drums and has been in many additional theatre productions. He has
performed twice with GCCs Music Theatre Workshop in both Richard Rogers and On the Wicked Stage. Past roles include Gilgamesh in
Dig It, Sher Kahn in The Jungle Book, the Narrator in The Candles of Christmas, Uncle Sam in A Patriotic Concert, and as an ensemble
member and soloist in Back to Kansas. He has performed in the Living Nativity production at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church
every year of his life in alternating roles of angel and shepherd with his most recent role being Gabriel. In SOV’s Living Lord’s Supper
drama, Kyle most recently played the role of the Pharisee. Kyle has also sung frequent solos with the Youth choir at SOV and was selected
to have lead acting roles at many annual Christmas musical productions. Kyle has taken both professional guitar and vocal lessons from
Ken Goodenberger and has performed for hundreds of people in recitals for each. He has worked with directors Andrea Robertson,
Vanessa Bernal and Jim Gradillas and done Stage combat training with Fight Call LLC.
